THE PROGRAM CALLS FOR 32 TOWNHOUSES AND 144 CONDOMONIUMS. THE DESIGN OF THE TOWNHOUSES FOLLOWS THE CONCEPT OF THE DISTRICT, A "NEW URBANISM" WITH FRONT PORCHES AND BACK ALLYWAYS. THE "BOULEVARD" URBAN DESIGN FOLLOWS THE HISTORIC PRECEDENT ESTABLISHED BY EIGHTH AVENUE.
GROUND WAS BROKEN NOVEMBER 10, 2003 WITH A COMPLETION DATE OF 2007. THE PRELIMINARY ESTIMATED COST IS BETWEEN $50 AND $70 MILLION. |
